Nutritional Energy for Developing My Mind/Body/Spirit

by: Marco Chase

The best energy for your life will come from developing, balancing and communicating with the triune of your body, mind and spirit.  Nurturing these elements of your humanity involves educating ones self, exercising, goal setting, daily intake of various nutrients, developing a personal plan, and etc. to move into your desired focus and direction in life.  Now that you have found out some secrets about yourself you are now armed with some very important pieces of information that will be the subject of your personal plan.  Ultimately the final outcomes of your goals are the foundation and expression of February’s topic-LOVE.  These techniques are consistently for and about you and every individual that you come in personal contact with.  Remember the only thing that makes you different from others is the power of your thinking.

When your body and mind are an inseparable part of the universe your perfectly healthy body feels expanded (Chopra & Simon, 2001) and energized.  Nature alone provides the building blocks for your healthy body (Brantley, 2007) to receive vital energy.  So I encourage you at least once a year go somewhere that you have never gone before to experience what that place has to offer.  It expands your scope of knowledge; level of thinking and most importantly connects you to others in non-familiar surroundings.  On a regular basis participate in some activity the increases your body’s energy level.  Take a walk, ride a bike trail, swim a lap, hike an unknown mountain, or play a round of disk golf.  Whatever your pleasure become physically active.  Your body deserves it!

It also takes understanding the laws and will of nature because it has an abundance to share with and show us.  Then the next step in the process is utilizing the universal laws to experience your greatness.  People make good and wise choices when they are both calm and grounded (Zukav and Francis, 2003).  The more you are able to replace life’s damaging decisions, experiences, and choices with life affirming ones the more profound are the experiences are in your physical, emotional and spiritual life (Chopra & Simon, 2001).  Another aspect to incorporate is by applying healthy natural principles (good nutrition, a healthy environment, and etc.) that allows disease to disappear (Brantley, 2007) naturally without artificial means.  Be conscious of what you put in your body to absorb for energy!  It really makes the difference between health and dis-ease.

Spiritus or as we know it spirit, which is breath.  We all know by personal experience that this delicate power is a life giving force that we can not live without.  Although it may challenge us physically to reach its fullest capacity, if not done properly can be just as life threatening as the absence of breath.  Finally, take in a deep cleansing breath!  In the process allow your abdominal wall to fully expand while raising your rib cage then exhale slowly.  Lets do that one more time.  If that felt really good to you you possibly will love yoga.

Keeping all of these points in mind and being active in the midst of your life experience can be rewarding and beneficial in various aspects.  In its entirety the items mentioned surely lead to a prosperous and energy filled being for the rest of you natural life if you so desire.  So take the time to participate in your triune of body, mind and spirit and see what it tells you.  It just may be the best things you have heard all your life.
